DJ NYj first spun his way onto the Iowa music scene in 1995. He has established a reputation as one of the most innovative DJs of his generation at that time. From playing music at small events to creating exciting atmospheres at concerts and stadiums with his brilliantly mixed tracks, NYj has come a long way since his very first mixing session. Since the ’90s, when NYj first burst onto the music scene, he released some widely anticipated mixes. He developed a sound that draws from many genres, pushing their musical boundaries to new limits. Preforming with some of the most prominent artists around RUN-DMC, Twista, DMX, Parliament, Cee Lo Green & Goodie Mob sees NYj as a pioneer DJ, blowing away convention while ushering in a new wave of modern music.
