Music has always been a part of my life—I learned to play the piano, cello, and drums early on. Late in high school and heading into my college years, I became fascinated with DJing and dance music, listening to house masters like Frankie Knuckles, Steve 'Silk' Hurley, Bad Boy Bill, Fast Eddie, Mr. Lee, and the legendary Masters at Work. I started learning to beat-match and mix in the late '80s and early '90s at a college radio station in St. Louis. After returning to my hometown in Iowa, I progressed to spinning at clubs and house parties, as well as running a mobile DJ business. During this time, I also built a friendship with DJ Ice and B-Dub.
After spending several years away from the turntables, I reconnected with DJ Ice and B-Dub, which reignited my deep passion for house music. Today, I continue to mix and produce tracks in my in-home studio in Minneapolis. My sets characteristically feature deep house, '90s house, '90s club, and '90s R&B.
