About
It was the summer of 1989 at the University of Iowa. Left in his apartment were 2 turntables, 6 milk crates full of records, a mixer, and speakers, all of which needed a home until the start of the fall semester. Obie Saddler Jr’s curiosity got the best of him and his first foray into music exploration ensued. The seed was planted for what would become a lifetime of making people move through the manipulation of sound.
After obtaining a law degree from the University of Nebraska and embarking on a career as an attorney, the music bug later bit him again. In 2008 he rekindled his love of music, purchased a midi-controller, and soon founded MOJ-D Entertainment in Phoenix, Arizona resurfacing as DJ Esquire. He currently maintains a solo law practice in Phoenix while still performing musical magic locally and nationally. He has recently reconnected with DJ Ice, the fella that stored those records in his apartment 32 years ago. DJ Esquire now shares the virtual stage with the other musical geniuses of Deus Entertainment.
